Jared is 6!

Jared is seriously a wonderful kid.
He is intelligent and helpful and thoughtful and silly!
And all he wanted this year before he figured out about milking it was a number 6 candle. Which his grandma bought him a couple months previous. Which I couldn't find for the life of me because we were moving that very day. Truly. Our friends/crew came over about 10 minutes after we had cake!
AAAANNNNDDDDD I couldn't find the matches. Nor did any neighbor answer their door when I went running down the hall looking for some.
Lame mom day.

But Jared was so patient with us and really didn't mind much.

This cake is decorated like The Flash. Not Kid Flash (from Young Justice). Adult Flash.

Licking the candles is apparently very important to some people around here.

 And as promised, we found it a few days later when we were unpacking!

 There is so much I love about this video:

• The puffed cheeks, ready to blow out candles the moment this song is over
• The excited hands that start conducting
• Rosie's intense and dramatic face while she sings
• The spit that flies all over the cake as he blows out the candle

Jared is just such a loving brother. He is always watching out for them and entertaining them and trying to teach them new skills.

He loves being good and working hard. He makes being his Mom much easier. I love this kid!
