Wisconsin Trip- Fun
Spending time in Wisconsin with my sisters and little brother was wonderful. We had so much fun everyday! We shopped, we laughed, we cooked. Unbelieveably
Ruthie wanted to document the amount of cheese in my parents' fridge.
We hung out with Peter, who is newly 16.
Brushed together, just like the old times.
Rosie wore a safety vest and Easter grass on her head.
Jared got his first shoveling experience.
Dad took us to Culver's.
Mom took us to McDonald's (with play place!)
We made poached pear pie pockets, served with whipped cream and homemade caramel for our dessert on Sunday. Mmmmm. Drool.
We hung out every evening.
We beaded silverware to match our bowls. (Let me know if you want to learn how!)

Wisconsin Trip- Cousins
During my most recent trip to my parents' home, we had 4 of the 6 grandkids there. It was marvelously chaotic and consistently hilarious.
I got to see this little one, Lauren, whom I hadn't seen since she was a week and a half old at Thanksgiving!
Jared and Lincoln (unpictured here) played swords and fought dragons often. And when you are doing this, you really must yell, "BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
For family home evening, they reenacted the walls of Jericho with my little brother Peter.
Lauren was in the jumper, but she mostly just slumped.
These boys had so much fun!
Riding on the camel saddle at GG and Papa's house (my grandparents).
Jared and Rosie love the animal puzzles.
Aunt Ruthie with the two little girls. Rosie LOVES baby Lauren. And she was just about as gentle as a 1 year old can be when touching a baby's eyes.

Jaredism
This morning Ken was rushing around trying to find his socks which were missing. I was suggesting a few places that it could be- couch, bed, etc.
Jared said, "I think it's in your dress up box!"
It took us a bit to realize that he meant a dresser.
Truly, it is a shame that he is old enough that we have an obligation to teach him the right words...

Picturesque Winter Night
We finally took advantage of our fireplace after nearly two winters. It was wonderfully cozy and the kids were completely mesmerized.
Also, I got to play with fire and then read by the fire. What could be better?
