Ken's hometown (Los Olivos) hosts a the Quick Draw every August. The Quick Draw means they get 20 artist together and give them 45 minutes to create a work of art. And then the art is auctioned off and some of the money is given to support the arts in local schools. This was so awesome to attend. Marcy watched Jared while we walked around and peeked over artist shoulders. It was great to see all the different styles and techniques each artists had. The auctioneer was the best though. He publicly embarrassed and harassed people into buying the art in the most friendly way I have ever seen. It was such a cool experience.
And GOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
We took a break from art-watching and ate some tri-tip sandwiches artfully.
Some of the finished works! I wish we had the $350 to $1300 to buy a piece or two!
Wow that's amazing art for being such a short time! That's so cool! I wish I had a nice chunch of change for a beautiful peice of art. I loved the Angel.

Looks like you've been having tons of fun! I'm super jealous that you got to go to the beach.
I thought you were going to say that Ken was one of the artists or something, I'd buy one of his.
