Patches

So, in early September, we started taking care of a kitten for a friend or a couple of weeks. They were in the middle of moving for a renovation and were saving Patches for their grandma, who would be moving into the area. It was great for us because we could decide if we were ready to have a pet in a temporary, no pressure trial period.

So we got to play with a sweet, curious kitten!

She's grown so much!

Well, more than a month went by and their grandmother was no longer in the position to have Patches, so our friends said they could pick her up, so she could get used to being an outdoor cat before the weather changed. But after spending a month with the most gentle, friendly and playful cat we've ever met, we asked if we could keep her! Both parties were relieved!

So, we have a cat now! It is sooner than planned, but we are happy to have her around.
