We called this section of our trip, "Stuck in Kentuck"
Basically a semi had jack knifed across the road a few miles ahead. We were in a stand still for 2 hours and then creeping along for a third hour. It was awful.
The cousins had fun together.
Rosie tried to keep up!
Sawyer is the oldest
Hunter (nearly 4)
And Jared in a matching shirt from Grandma.
Okay, I have to say, my favorite cousin moment from the trip is when I had to rescue a crying Rosie, while the older boys had orchestrated a game of "Pirates Kill the Princess."
Aren't boys great?
We had a trip to Zoo Atlanta:
This was the absolute best part! Two mother gorillas and their babies were right next to the glass picking their noses. Awesome!
My first time seeing pandas.
We were there for my brother Joe's birthday.
Carrie (with a bit of help from me) made this awesome cake that looks like barbeque chicken pizza. She is so cool.
We explored centennial park and played soccer and Frisbee.
The very next day was sweet Hunter's birthday. We were supposed to drive home this day, but there were high winds, rain and a smattering of tornadoes, so we stayed another day.
Jared is looking so cool at Monkey Joe's
Birthday cupcakes!
I'm so glad we were able to go. The weather was wonderful in Georgia and the company was even better!
