After delaying plans and promises piecemeal all summer long, we went camping on Labor Day. That's right. We went on Labor Day (Monday) and got home just before school started (Tuesday).
Tin foil dinners that were just a little burnt on the bottom
Followed by s'more-y goodness! We use nutella instead of hard, tasteless Hershey's bars, but that is just personal preference!
After a long walk, we all snuggled in our little tent for a little (very little) sleep.
And we got up at the crack of dawn to drizzle and yogurt in the car, so we could get home and showered and send Jared off to school!

Looks like you had a lot of fun and that you pretty much had the park to yourself! Glad that worked out for you guys!
