Some of our friends gave us homegrown gourds this year, so that is what we used for Halloween decorations. We painted them because, well, I was just too lazy to tackle carving an unfamiliar vegetable.
Rosie, of course, did not paint. She went to bed.
I love Ken's laughing gourd.
Mine's just blue. I thought about adding more, but I think that is enough of a statement.
What a clever idea! Looks like you had a lot of fun! I do like the blue color, Kelsey! Did Ken do the one with the arms and short hair? I'm thinking those gourds would be hard to carve anyway. At least you can still eat them after painting them!
