No Pants?

Jared has not worn one outfit for an entire day once this week. This is the time in his life of leaky diapers. Most days are two outfit days, but once in a blue moon we get three or four outfits per day. Good thing I'm working to improve my attitude about laundry!
You think I would learn from this. However, I was optimistic this morning and only brought a replacement onesie to church. By the end of Sunday School, he was only wearing the onesie (long sleeved at least) and socks and shoes. Aaaaaaaaaaand today was a day when it snowed.
So he came home from church like this:

Another lesson learned in being a parent.

what diapers are you using? we never had any blowouts with kissaluvs (cloth diapers) but then again they needed a cover over them.... trust me it gets easier- I know about now you're changing him like every 2 hours, but in a year- it'll only be like 3 times a day! hang in there!

Parenting is all about being creative. :)

Blowouts usually tell us when it's time to go to the next size diaper. (I have no idea if it's the case for you.) Anyhow, even if Seth hasn't it the upper weight limit on the size, going to the next size up has usually "held in" the blowouts.

When we brought Izzy home from the hospital we were swaddling her, but after about a week she started kicking her way out of the swaddle which also pulled off her diaper. We were changing her sheets twice a night. We don't do that anymore...

Zach went through very similar poop explosions when he was the same age. The worst is when they explode while they're sitting on your lap. Don't worry, eventually it passes. I love the picture.
