Bathroom art

Sometimes Jared can't sleep. He knows better than to come downstairs and complain.

Well one morning I went into the bathroom to help the girls brush their teeth when I noticed this:

Instead of reading, he had gotten out the bath crayons and created this masterpiece. There is a whole story to go with it too, involving who the boss is and why and what everyone likes to do all day long.

It makes me smile!!!

Don't Take Your Eyes Off Them!

And definitely don't take a shower thinking that your four year old will just get out water paints when she has clearly indicated that she wants to paint.

First Fishing Trip!

Rosie's worst nightmare came true- she fell off the tube. Fortunately for her, Ryan jumped in and took care of her until we could turn the boat around!

I am glad I got a good video of Ken crashing too!

Meeting Great Grandma Ross

One of the reasons for our trip to California was to be sure the kids got to meet their great grandmother! It had been nearly a decade since Ken and I had seen her!
